I am spending a few days in NYC in July. I usually hit the Broadway shows hard and maybe one noteworthy Off Broadway show. However, I was wondering if anyone knew of any good dance companies or small, alternative theatre groups where I could see an interesting piece of work that I might not be aware of as a tourist. Any insight or recommendations would be appreciated.
