Red Eye review

I see this movie has been getting QUITE the buzz - especially around here.

It is hard to describe this movie other than as a pointless thriller with a dominant female.

The acting is alright but it just seems to climax and end so fast. I know, sounds like something else.

I mean most of the movie is exposition. And as our good friends over at Urinetown have said, "nothing can kill a show like too much exposition."

I will say it was exciteing throughout. Not a dull moment. Causes a great adrenilie rush. Other than that, it was rather pointless.

Fun, but awkward.

Any other questions? Leave 'em!

Is it worth my 6 dollars tomorrow?

So its an action movie and not a scary? I've gotten the vibe of it being both of those, from a few things I've read/heard.

It's more of a thriller.

Nice and twisty in the first hour or so.

Jess925, totally agree with you there. I have been in love with him ever since Girl With a Pearl Earring... still haven't see Batman Begins though...

Just came back from Red Eye. Excellent. It's a nice tight thriller. Nothing out of this world but all the elements came together. The "target" was a little cheesy(actually the wife too) but all in all a very good afternoon and worth the $9.75.

I thought it was decent. Not the best thriller ever, but certainly a worthy summer night diversion. I also thought it was interesting that (POSSIBLE MINI-SPOILER)she had no love interest in the movie. I actually kind of appreciated that. I liked that it was just about her and there was no man-drama to drag her down.

Kringas - she's a strong, dominant woman with a scar on her breast.

Aren't we all? I was just glad there wasn't a romantic sub-plot.

I agree.

I especially liked the old Jewish Woman, fan of Dr. Phil.

"Lose something?"

"Yes, my book! I can't find my book!"

And in the credits, it said, "nice lady"

I noticed "Nice Lady" in the credits, too. That made me chuckle.

Heh, the best part of the movie was on the plane...

But what is a red-eye? The plane was called FRESH AIR.
