Third? We have the best record in the league? How on Earth are we gonna get third? The Cardinals are going to kick a*s! We are an amazingly consistant team. We make it to the playoffs every year and this year we're going to the series and we're going to WIN!

Hate baseball, but so sick of the Yankees being shoved down my throat every year that I always root for whomever they're playing against. Especially last night when I had to stand squished for my entire ride home - usually there are plenty of seats on the subway ride home...last night it was so packed with Yankee fans that I had to hold onto the high bar - and at 5'0" tall, that's enough to practically pull my arm right out of the socket!

Actually there are cheerleaders now!!!! A friend was telling me about it. Maybe it was a Braves game or some other team down South but there were cheerleaders!

Yeah, and Bartolo Colon is an overrated fat mess who has had a miserable year hence a Red Sox win.

Shesings, the Cards are third in my preference of who should win, not 3rd in likelihood. Two different things, or I would have had the Red Sox on that list, too. :)
Jesus being a Red Sox fan in a very good argument for Judaism, I'd say.

Thanks, Mr. Roxy. Gotta get that good karma going. You will LOVE Fenway. If you get a chance, take the tour. You'll get to go behind the score board, which is still manual, and sit in the dugout. I've seen so many games there. Even from the bleachers, you feel like you are right on the field. Ah, I can smell the Italian sausages cooking now! Getcha souvaneeuhs heeuh.

Jersey needs a baseball team. I'm a Mets fan myself. Actually I am the only person I know that likes both the Mets and the Yankees. I'll root for both, and if they play each other I cheer for the Mets.

Oh, yes, that's exactly what New Jersey needs. Another reason to feel an inferiority complex to New York. As if the Nets moving to Brooklyn isn't enough of an indignity, we need a horrible expansion team, too. And where would they play? The new sports complez in Newark that will never, ever get built?
