Posted: 6/8/07 at 12:30pmWould that it was actual SEX and not just narcissitic exhibitionism of self. "Fly Naked?" How about "Fly Copulating?" Oh no no no, then it would be about connection and the messiness of human interaction and not just showing off and being adored for it in a sterile and plastic way.

Don't worry, I'm very adept at multi-tasking and it gives the Gay Liberation Theorist section in my brain something to chew over while doing other things. That's something I actually care about even though I sometimes think I'm kind of over all that. The anger I feel over artificial phenomena like Reichen reminds me that I still do care about it, a lot.

Posted: 6/8/07 at 12:41pmDoes it make me less gay that I have no idea who this Reichen is?

No. I don't see why not knowing who Reichen is would make you "less gay".

"In its tireless attempts to bring America's hottest shirtless men to television, the here! cable network has announced that Amazing Race winner (and Lance Bass' ex-boyfriend) Reichen Lehmkuhl has joined the cast of the sizzling gay soap opera Dante's Cove."

Posted: 6/8/07 at 1:24pmWhy do gay related sites have to be so sexually oriented?
#67re: Reichen: tacky, yet politically active
Posted: 6/8/07 at 1:25pmI don't know.. maybe it is because if we didn't talk about sex people would realize we are just like them?

Posted: 6/8/07 at 1:32pmIt's just not a site I can visit at work or with grandma present. Underwear is one thing but this is just so typical.

No, it's because it IS our sex lives that defines us as different from heterosexuals.
That's what's so distressing about having sexuality scraped out of discussions about gay rights.

Again Namo.. very well put. I am not trying just to blow smoke up your ass. But you manage to manifest things correctly.

mejusthavingfun,
Do you ever visit gay sites that aren't sexual? If so.. links?

This is one I visit every morning. Sometimes it has raunchy ads up, but since they have been "legitimized" it's toned down. I haven't really found any other than some blogs that aren't remotely sexually explicit.
There are gay-vague sites like this one which have nothing to do with sex, but they are not called gay.
Do lesbians have to put up with all this sex on their sites?
