Wow, that takes me back.

And you know, I didn't even think about Facebook being a possible cause for things changing here, since I always thought of BWW as serving such a different purpose, but there's probably something to that.

Plum, I agree. Facebook is just NOT BWW, especially like it was a few years ago when I could'nt even keep up with the funny threads. I sure never get that on Facebook.

Fridays were such a hoot here, I didnt want to leave work...now it's a ghost town.

Yeah, two years ago this board was full of nasty people that would attack people all the time. It was obnoxious and idiotic. The board was full of elitist bullies. I left for that reason. Just started browsing again.

Robbie and Boobs are a riot on here too.
On Facebook I have to slog through the 10 daily affirmation posts one friend insists on posting. By then I'm bored.

We did try to transfer friends from bww to facebook, but forget how. Did we list our bww name as an entry in our facebook profiles? Also adding our avatars here in our facebook photos?

It worked for a while.

In your Facebook settings, you can specify a nickname or alternate name you use. You could add your BWW username in there. It would show up as (doodlenyc) in gray after your real name. Facebook would then show your profile if someone searched for your screen name on Facebook.

Doodle - I have one of those annoying affirmative friends, too. I've adjusted my settings to stop her posts from showing/taking over on my newsfeed.

I've got about five of those affirming people on my page. I've only hidden one of them so far. One of those affirmers is the most selfish, self-centered people that I know, but seems to think we're buying the kumbya crap that he posts.
