I am planning my first trip to NYC and I am staying on Broadway. Can anyone suggest any good places to eat that are pretty cheap? ($10-$12 per person)
Thanks!

Of course it has - but restaurants come and go so fast in NY that it doesn't hurt at all to bring it back when someone is going to be visiting town - especially for the first time.
I visit NY a lot and I kept copies of old threads with members citing their favorite spots. I took a look at it the other day and over half of the places listed were no longer there.
So - for those who know, why not answer?

I find the screen name twt almost offensive.
It just needs an 'a'.

The best area for good cheap eats in your area is in Hell's Kitchen--lots of fun places around there and you might even see some Bway folks--try Blockheads, Arriba Arriba, Eatery, Vinyl, El Deportivo, Yum Yum Bangkok, Afghan Kebab House...Vintage is a good wine bar...Zen Palate is okay for Vegetarians, but there are also some good Ethiopian places in the area as well.
