Has anyone seen this yet? I'm still trying to find out if they are showing the Cinemascope or the Todd-AO version. If you've never seen the Todd-AO it's like seeing a Broadway show a second or third time. The performances and dancers, ensemble are all interesting to watch. Even MacRae and Jones have subtle inflections and differences in their performances, (and a persistent butterfly in People Will Say We're In Love that you would swear is a prop but it looks absolutely real).

Kristin Chenowith is supposed to introduce and sing.

I saw it last week and the intro said it was the Todd-AO version. I don't know enough about Oklahoma! to distinguish both version, but I did notice in People Will Say We're In Love, there was a pesky fly that kept flying on MacRae's clothing, I believe.

If the opening credits were against a black background then it's the TODD-AO version.

If the opening credits are against shots of the farm/corn fields, etc. then it's the CinemaScope version

Hey guys thanks. And thank you Carlos, the one with the black title card with red lettering is the one I'm looking for and it sounds like this is it based on what deG said.

Ill probably see it more than once now. I've met SJ and  it's fun to hear Shirley Jones talk of her experiences and memories. Wonderful classy Ms. Jones is terrific. Plus Gloria Grahame and Charlotte Greenwood  , Agnes deMille , movie  history.

Thank you so much, Carlos! It was definitely the Todd-AO version that was screened, Steve! Enjoy! :)

Now I'm curious to see what was different in the Cinemascope version!
