I never got his appeal. Never liked him as an actor. Haven't gone to a Cruise film (with the exception of Magnolia) since Jerry McGuire, which I couldn't stand, although the Renee factor probably added to my loathing on that one...

I can usually get past an actor being a total ass of a person if they are talented and can still appreciate a performance. But not this time. His insufferable arrogance and know-it-all superiority has transcended any ability I have to be open-minded about him.
