I saw this on Friday night and never had a more enjoyable 90 minutes watching TV. The telecast was from 1957 so the quality wasn't very good. But the music and singing was superb. Julie Andrews was Cinderella, Kaye Ballard and Alice Ghostly were the step sisters Edie Adams was the fairy godmother and a very young Jon Cypher was the prince. It is being rerun right now and I am going to enjoy it all over again.

I saw this about a year ago I think. I thought it was phenominal. Julie is so beautiful.

It was enjoyable, especially to see what audiences in 1957 saw. I thought it was a little slow overall, but Alice Ghostly and Kaye Ballard were a hoot in the "Stepsister's Lament."

I love that song. If I ever get my cabaret act together, that's one of the songs I want to sing.
