A Romney loss is a gain for the US and the GOP. Too many strong contenders are ready to leap into 2016- Jeb Bush, Christie, Ryan- and they won't want to wait 8 years.

Ryan will NEVER be the 2016 nominee. For one, his wife is THROUGH with the national spotlight. And, he's a tool. I have disliked Christiie from afar for many reasons, but I will give him credit for this past week.

Funny how the Right just goes after Christie for doing the proper thing. They are just the worst, and UN-AMERICAN!!

Was not aware Oliver Stone was serving in DC. What Democrat has come out in support for Romney?Since you brought it up, tell us.You blast is for 'looking at a Republican more closely' but at the same time you and your side have thrown Christie under the bus because he committed the #1 crime. He is working with Obama and you guys HATE THAT. ANYONE who cooperates with Obama is the enemy according to you people. That is sick. So tel me Abby/Bailey. WHat do you think of Christie?

More importantly Christie is working with Obama for the benefit of the people of his state. He has gone on record as saying, "I am working for the people of my state. If you think I would put that aside for Presidental politics, you obviously don't know me." For THAT he is being demonized by the GOP. Imagine putting the people you SERVE ahead of Politics!

The Dems are corrupt. They are Godless thieves who believe in nothing. They think that men should have sex with other men and that unborn babies should be ripped from their mothers' wombs. Dems have no respect for anything or anybody. Clinton and obama are the sleaziest men on the planet. If Hillary had the slightest bit of self-respect, she would have divorced him years ago.

A man who is a friend and fan of David Duke calls two ex-presidents the sleaziest men on the planet. This guy is a prime example of the devastation Reagan's cuts to mental health care and institutionalization have wrought on the United States.

The GOP may be pro-life but yet they're cutting funds for the then infant whose mother can't support it, or doesn't want it.

So much for being pro-life, ass hole.

Oh, Jim, I hope you have an appointment with your doctor this week, because you really need to have your meds adjusted.

but when democrats start supporting Romney you throw them to the curb.

Do you mean Meatloaf and Lindsay Lohan who cannot even VOTE?

Christie's no dummy. Today he still stated his support for Romney while also saying how much the political system has become so partisan and did not back down commending the president for working with his state. Republicans do want to be aggressively defiant against Obama and it has seeped into high political offices. I could actually see a major Romney surrogate/Republican governor being uncooperative with Obama even in crisis. Rick Perry immediately jumps to mind as a possibility, especially with his secession/Tea Party/you are on your own rhetoric. There are governors refusing to participate in the ACA/Obamacare because it would give them bona fides in the GOP field.

Christie knows that somebody like him may be a media darling but he knows that he still won the state thanks to appealing to independents rather than on the fringes. He also knows that this recovery is about the long-term rebuilding effort for New Jersey and he cannot being throwing salvos a la Giuliani for something that will be over with by Tuesday.

I'm gonna say it.
I hope Jim goes into a hole and never comes back.
He's a mindless, cowardly, moronic, ugly, hate filled, scummy, low life piece of garbage.
Good bye Jim. The posts you have made have entertained me a lot. Buh bye.

Colyer's final thought on Twitter was sent 7 hours ago:

"SEND OBAMA TO AFRICA WHERE HE BELONGS!!!!"

I assume he has since killed himself.
