DJ explained that "gay bowel syndrome" is simply a homophobic term for proctitis.
Michael Scarce also published an article in 1997 in the Journal of Homosexuality in regards to gay bowel syndrome. [64] The abstract for Scarce's article states the following: "The use and diagnosis of Gay Bowel Syndrome must be abandoned before it further lends itself to the formation of social policies and governing practices that seek to force gay male bodies into positions of social, cultural, and political subordination."

Sometimes they don't. I have an easier time understanding where a white man is coming from because, for the most part, they have never dealt with discrimination. Huh? Sounds like a new work of Republican fiction. That's the first I've ever heard of that opinion. We've actually seen a lot of African American opposition to gay marriage in recent years. Not to mention the coining of the phrase "on the down-low".

Here's hoping that all straight folks everywhere one day realize that anti-gay ravers come in just two flavors: assholes who are externalizing their own internal struggles against homosexual desires (Ted Haggard, Larry Craig, Charlie Crist, Joseph Ratzinger, et al.) and assholes who are attempting to compensate for and/or draw attention away from their own moral shortcomings (David Vitter, Mark Sanford, John Ensign, Vic Toews, et al.).

My other posts were removed - the one where I said her ignorance and bigotry were astounding, and the ones where I asked her if she knew what the word "etymology" meant and why I don't buy the arguments about the "definition of marriage" because language is a living thing and always changing, ending with "So unless you are the CEO of Merriam/Webster, stop."
