You guys make me proud!
I can't figure out how to remove myself from her fan list now.
Go to the bottom of her wall and on the left hand corner, it says "unfriend" or something like that
This is fun.
Thanks spidey. I'm, still commenting on her ignorant crap, but I'll remove myself when I'm done. I can't believe how she is defending herself. Are you Robert?
Me? No, I'm DJ
DJ explained that "gay bowel syndrome" is simply a homophobic term for proctitis.
Michael Scarce also published an article in 1997 in the Journal of Homosexuality in regards to gay bowel syndrome. [64] The abstract for Scarce's article states the following: "The use and diagnosis of Gay Bowel Syndrome must be abandoned before it further lends itself to the formation of social policies and governing practices that seek to force gay male bodies into positions of social, cultural, and political subordination."
Because subordination of any kind is wrong, Barb!

Whoopsie! Thanks, DJ.
Haha. You're welcome, mah dear
I was just trying to figure out who the guy Robert was that was commenting on her wall.
This is my response to a certain Dean Chapin, who supports the bigoted Minnesotan homophobe Barb White, when he told people commenting on her fan page to "Get a life, trolls:"
Dean - we have a life. A life that people like Barb (and apparently you, too) are trying to diminish, demean and negate. Think about that. If you can.
Classy and potent as always, Deet.

She's not a white male, therefore she's not a Republican (or so the liberals would have us believe.)
That's tellin' em, Goth.
FAIL.
We don't think all Republicans are white men, Goth. A large percentage are white men. A large percentage are homophobic idiots. Sometimes those two things overlap. Sometimes they don't. I have an easier time understanding where a white man is coming from because, for the most part, they have never dealt with discrimination. For a black woman to have this opinion is just mind boggling.
It amazes me that in the year 2010 there are still people so stupid!
^ You mean Goth, right?
Deet, the Kraken ate your posts!
She's not a white male, therefore she's not a Republican (or so the liberals would have us believe.)
Huh? Sounds like a new work of Republican fiction. That's the first I've ever heard of that opinion. We've actually seen a lot of African American opposition to gay marriage in recent years. Not to mention the coining of the phrase "on the down-low".
FYI Goth, she is running against Keith Ellison who is not only the first Muslim ever elected to the US Congress but also one of the more progressive Representatives who is a supporter of gay rights.
Thanks, Amber.
Just posted on her wall:
I see my posts were removed. And yet I didn't resort to name calling. I just merely posted my thoughts. So much for free speech.

Dan Savage makes a wonderful point today (in his column about another right-wing jerk):
Here's hoping that all straight folks everywhere one day realize that anti-gay ravers come in just two flavors: assholes who are externalizing their own internal struggles against homosexual desires (Ted Haggard, Larry Craig, Charlie Crist, Joseph Ratzinger, et al.) and assholes who are attempting to compensate for and/or draw attention away from their own moral shortcomings (David Vitter, Mark Sanford, John Ensign, Vic Toews, et al.).

Deet, I'm glad you replied to that asshole Dean, even if it did get removed. I was trying to think of a good way to reply to him but you did it better than I could have.
Actually, Stockard, that reply is still there - at least it was a few minutes ago. My other posts were removed - the one where I said her ignorance and bigotry were astounding, and the ones where I asked her if she knew what the word "etymology" meant and why I don't buy the arguments about the "definition of marriage" because language is a living thing and always changing, ending with "So unless you are the CEO of Merriam/Webster, stop."
