Well, a lot of people in the Arts speak Russian...esp. ballet.
i'm sure someone here takes Ballet and has a Russian teacher. Well, here are your first six words and one expression for now!
Hello - Zdravstvuytye (pron: ZDRAHST-voo-tye)
Hi! - Privyet! (pron: pree-VYET)
*Note: The first v in zdravstvuytye is silent.
*Note: Zdravstvuy (without the tye at the end) is an informal way to say hello. It is pronounced ZRAHST-vwe)
Good-bye - Do Svidaniya (pron: dah svee-DAHN-ee-ya)
Bye (see ya later)! - Poka (pron: puh-KAH)
*Note: Do svidaniya literally means Until the next meeting.
*Note: Poka is informal.
Thank you - Spasibo (pron: spah-SEE-bah)
You're welcome/Here you go/Please - Pozhaluysta (pron: puh-ZHAL-oo-stah)
*Note: If someone is handing you somethinf, such as if you went to McDonald's in Russia (Makdonalds), the cashier may say, Pozhaluysta (there you are). In turn you would say, Spasibo (thanks).
(the zh makes the same sound as the French "j" or the "s" in pleasure)
I love you - Ya tyebya lyublyu OR Ya lyublyu tyebya (pron: yah tih-BYA lyub-LYU)
Enjoy!
EDIT: ALL FIXED!
