Hi BWW posters. My daughter's voice teacher is doing a recital and this time the theme is Russia. I know there are songs from "Chess", "Fiddler on the Roof", and "Anastasia". Can anyone think of others? They don't actually have to be Broadway. Thank you so much in advance. I'm on google and youtube looking but I'm hoping some of you have experience with this. Again- thank you for your time! oh- and p.s. I've also looked into Dr. Zhivago.
"Too Bad (We Can't Go Back to Moscow)," "Siberia" and perhaps some other numbers from SILK STOCKINGS
The Russian ambassador's sections of "Please Hello" from PACIFIC OVERTURES
"Tchaikovsky" from LADY IN THE DARK
"Vodka" from SONG OF THE FLAME
The Beatles' BACK IN THE U.S.S.R.

"Those Were The Days", which is an English translation of a Russian folk song.
Wow! Thank you everyone! All of the songs listed I didn't even think about! Some are hard to find on youtube though. Jbara- I wasn't on top of any of your suggestions. Thank you for taking the time I really appreciate it!
The only one I can think of is Stranger In Moscow, by Michael Jackson...not very Russian sounding, though.
Sadly there was no cast recording of the Aussie production of Zhivago. There might have been something good from Lucy Simon
