An enjoyable episode for me. The cold open felt a little strange as I'm not quite ready or willing to laugh at Trump's ineptness in regards to Puerto Rico. However, I liked Gosling's monologue about saving jazz (still, to me, one of the strangest La La Land criticisms) and found him a pleasant presence throughout the night. Always happy to see McKinnon's Miss Rafferty, liked Bryant's chicken costume and appreciated Jost and Che's "Weekend Update." The "Papyrus" pre-tape was excellent.
