I thought it was Patsy Cline, the Village People, Air Supply and Enya.

Patsy brought heartache to music, Village People brought costumes to music, Air Supply brought saccharine to music and Enya brought spirituality to music.

Thanks, Rath - that explains a lot. On another thread he posted a link to an astronomy paper of some sort. He's trying to locate the Mothership! Hopefully he'll take "outamydoodle" home, too. It's all making sense...

Bluemoon...I do live in a white world but I am not racist. I bought Little Richard & Chuck Berry records as a kid when blacks could not even get into restaurants. I like a lot of black disco, especially Donna Summer & Chic. I recorded a black country singer here in Nashville. Nonetheless, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, ABBA & Shania Twain are the backbone of the music of the last 50 years. There is no getting around it. I would be lying if I said otherwise.
