here is the cyber petition, help us out!

Most of America does not even know who she is! I know that's sad but SNL would not put someone on the show if they are that unknown. Unless she does a movie, tv show, or is in the tabloids, her chances of hosting are pretty slim. Good luck on your petition though!

Oops- sorry- I'm still not awake. I was only thinking about her hosting. She would have a chance of being a featured player that could move into a regular! A lot of "unknowns" do this. Again- Good luck and I admire your passion for her!

i have to respectfully disagree. SNL has said at least that they responded to the Betty White Hosting action on Facebook...of course she was on an upward trend anyway.

And SNL casting has never been about who's famous. i'm not trying to get Kritzer hosting, but as a regular. SNL has traditionally sought out new regulars in obscure comedy clubs and improv groups and takes video submissions.

Why shouldn't Leslie's talent put her in that category? if we can get some true Broadway talent also known on TV (the model being GLEE) then what's the harm? that TV fame could bring some new audiences to B'way, just as shows are casting "TV Q" folks for attendance even if not that suited....(Lisa Rinne, Melanie Griffith in CHICAGO for instance)

sure, mebbe it's more productive to navel-gaze in here constantly than sign a cyber petition that might have some impact. But there's only one way to find out.

Prove me wrong...sign it and let my frustration come when i get it to the SNL casting department. Then you can do the TOLD YOU SO dance from WILL & GRACE.

Betty White is in a totally different league. Same for Carol Burnett- whom I would love to host the show and I believe there was/is a FB campaign. The majority of America know who they are- even teenagers. Although I understand your point, Leslie would be a great SNL player. Unfortunately, when you have people like the Kardashians, having talent doesn't mean a thing. I have been watching SNL since it first started. Bernadette Peters did host one time and Christine Ebersole was a regular. Right now, I can't think of other Broadway stars- I'm sure someone else will. Like I said, I admire your passion but I don't think your petition will garner as much attention as Betty or Carol. If I'm wrong, I will gladly concede to your happy dance! Good luck!

hey ANYTHING to let La Kritzer know to keep at it. Let people mock me on here, and sign it to show me i'm wrong. They can come back on here and post publically what a windmill i'm tilting at, who cares. But like the stableboy said after a week of shoveling out the stalls....THERE HAS GOT TO BE A PONY IN HERE SOMEWHERE.

I can't watch the video at work but does it explain that she wants to be on SNL?

the YouTube link is a set of her videos there, a mix of the comedy ones she did for fun, her SNL audition tapes, and also just singing performances about town too. Great mix if you have time and a good guide to her general impact, which IMHO is phenomenonal and distinctive. Truly she is like a COMPETENT version of Jenna on THIRTY ROCK or the gal based on Chenoweth (played by Sarah Paulson)on STUDIO SIXTY. i think of her as this incredible modern amalgamation of Carol Burnett (zany and fearless), Judy Holliday (funny but vulnerable) and also comfortable in her own funky glamor (maybe Maya Rudolf-esque). She's the pretty girl not afraid to look goofy and her voice is amazing. Plus she's just WITTY and good at improv. Her musicals didn't give her much a chance to show those qualities off, and i'd hate to lose her to Los Angeles....SNL is a great interim step, so she'd do the Ana Gastmeyer route in reverse.

in my previous post, i left out that i find La Kritzer pretty dang vital and sexy too....kinda like a shorter Chelsea Handler as a smouldering brunette

They aren't going to hire her because of some petition that no one is signing.

It's called auditioning, and I'm sure she's done it before.

thanks for the support. Maybe it is more productive to discuss in detail past cast albums, who should have been cast in what, or predict the outcomes of reality shows or episodic television. Nothing about those things are going to change either. It's fine if you don't agree with the intent or the outcome of what i tried to do of course, but wishing ill on anyone isn't doing much for your karma either. It's called optimism and attempting positive change....look into it.

and just to be clear, three people have signed since i posted here. God knows not a landslide, but hey....also not "no one." i haven't tracked the YouTube hits.

If i'd like to see it happen, or her to see jumps in her YouTube hits, i just thought trying it would be better than not trying it. No one at SNL may pay attention, of course....but they certainly wouldn't if there was NO attempt.

That being said, if you have the time in your busy fulfilled lives to keep dealing out a little random bitchiness, no one can stop you. Enjoy your belittling, but here's a hint: it doesn't make you any bigger or better.

Fair enough. And trying to get Leslie Kritzer on SNL with her three year old audition tape doesn't make you her friend.

Where in the world did anyone wish her ill?

Someone forgot to take their bitch pills.

And why put a picture that has Faith Prince and Megan Mullally featured better than the person you want to draw attention to?

Seriously, a petition to get a celebrity to host is one thing. But starting a petition to get someone a job?

Hey wtf, I'm gonna start a FB petition to get myself a promotion. I wonder if I get like 1,000 signatures if he will give me that corner office?
....but the world goes 'round

I wonder is being sardonic is inborn or has to be practiced. If the latter, could you practice it somewhere else?

you two must lead lives of amazing productivity and practicality, to keep beating the dead horse of someone else's folly.
