The Legend of Sleepy Hollow Narrated by Tom Mison
Got hooked on this series over the summer and now cannot wait for the new season! I loved Fringe when it was on the air and this feels like the closest thing I've found to the same spirit.
Welcome to the SleepyHeads, BwayRose7! If you liked Fringe you were no doubt delighted to see John Noble in the cast of Sleepy Hollow.
And of course Fringe creators Orci and Kurtzman co-created it (though they are so busy with film, etc, projects I don't think they've been active showrunners.)
I was delighted to see JN indeed! And if I may say so, I'm glad to see that you two are fans of this show- I'm fairly certain that we have very similar tastes in TV :)
Am I right in thinking you also like OUAT?
BTW, I recommend The Legend of Sleepy Hollow audio book narrated by Tom Mison. I haven't listened to all of it, but hearing his voice reading this tale is just a joy.

I do like OUAT! I watch way too much genre TV but it's just so much fun! And I will have to check out that audio book too- I've studied the story several times (hazard of being an English major) and would love to hear him read it.
For those of you in the U.S.: TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! I will get it on Tuesday, so I'll be off this page until I've seen it. Enjoy!!!!
I Can't WAIT!
Watched.
Will watch again because it was jam packed with plot twists!
AWESOME start. SO excited for this new season!

I absolutely loved tonight's episode. So many twists, action packed, brilliantly written! We're also recapping Sleepy Hollow (along with a bunch of other TV shows) on BroadwayWorld TV!

I'll be recapping every week and as we get further into the season, do a little more analysis, interviews, etc..
I was able to watch last night after all. I had ordered season 2 on Instant Video a few days ago. When I went into my Amazon unbox to watch the season finale, I discovered the first episode was already there ready for download!!! (the episode had NOT yet aired in the States). Amazing, excigting, confusing -- W.O.W. Glad I can watch again tonight to see what I missed.

LOVED IT.
I must admit to being a bit "What the hell?" during the first 10 minutes, but it all fell into place. As Addy said, I need to watch this again to catch all the nuances. It's so hard to watch Tom Mison's face again ya know.
I LOVED the way they opened it. Brilliant.
Definitely watching again.
Tom Mison is just swoon-worthy.
Ichabod and Abbie have amazing chemistry.

I have to admit to being an Ichabbie fan.
Yeah, it's just sooooo hard to watch Tom Mison's face... but someone's gotta do it...
When I saw the Horseman come in with his stuff, I thought to myself that there was going to be a shirtless scene. Low and Behold, there was. Also smart way of having the Horseman get some character development with the necklace.
The whole fake out in the beginning made me think I had remembered the season finale wrong. Smart writing.
Heck of an episode last night. My reaction at the end "damn and bloody HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry to report that it's not doing well in the ratings this season.
The opening episode was down versus last year, and this week's episode slipped even further.
FOX is struggling in general, so they aren't able to promote it as effectively.
I'd hate to see this get cancelled. Although I would imagine FOX will stick with it, it does have a high production cost, so it might be risky if the ratings don't turn around.
I love this show. I can't bear to consider that it might not continue. . .

I am sorry to hear the ratings are slipping. I love the new police chief as a character, and the fact that John Noble has been upgraded to regular status. And Tom Mison is just so wonderful to look at, and they have kept the right tone of bewilderment - "wedding industry..."
Been busy these past couple of weeks and haven't joined the conversation here, but I've been watching, and I've been completely loving it. Fantastic episodes, fast-moving plot, and just the right amount of indignant snark from Ichabod. And yes, I too watch it partly for Ichabbie and Tom Mison :)
I'm loving it too. A bit bummed about the ratings though. Sure hope that improves. Rumor has it Benedict Arnold will be on Monday's episode.
