Saw this the other day and was very taken with a beautiful, hilarious actress who was in one scene.
She had exactly three lines:
How about their onions
You'd get further with your feet, they're bigger
Don't pick on me
Does anyone know who she was and what became of her. She seemed like a wonderful comedienne.

No, it wasn't Phyllis Kennedy. She played Hattie.
Okay, as I said, it was a wild guess. I havent seen the film in years, but I went to IMDB and looked for the last name listed, figuring that would be the one with the least screen time.
Now I'm gonna have to get out my DVD. See what you made me do????
The film is so much better than the play.
God, I hate the play.
I've haven't read through it, but a Google search's hit indicated that the script on this website gives the line to Mary Louise Smith:

And IMDB says that Mary Louise Smith is in the film as "Bit Role (uncredited).
So it looks as though Mary Louise might be your girl.

The Cala Lilies are in bloom again...
