thanks all.....really appreciate your thoughts...

Day, he came home Feb 18th, so he got to spend 10 days with her. She had just been moved to Jewish Hospital and Nursing Home two days ago.

He told me tonight that when he was there, he found a box with every letter, and card I had ever sent her.....

It's funny....last night I had the best time in Detroit with my ex-boss, his wife (who had to have been my twin in a past life) and their boys......they are like a second family to us, and I had a wonderful time with them....and then several hours later I receive this news.......a day of very different emotions.

We're probably coming to NYC on Tuesday for the service and funeral.......

The best to both of you. Went through it in 2001 and 2003. It is very hard, but he will get through it.

Love to you both.

brd....as you know, my parents are 82 and 80....adn in declining health. In fact when I called thursday night to tell them.....they both said something like "oh, was she ill?"......they had forgotten all that happened.....until I reminded them.
I do not look forward going through what my partner is going through. I hope I can do it with half the amount of class and grace he is exhibiting.

can't believe it's been two years since my partners mother passed away.

She was such a creative, intelligent, and independent person, never afraid to give an opinion, never afraid to right the wrong.

She welcomed me into her life always treated me like her own son (which also meant I got told off when needed it, lol)

I miss her spirit and pizazz.

sad day today......today is a day to call those you love, and tell them you love them.

Mom's gone 20 years next month- I still miss her every day. It's just so hard- the one truly irreplaceable relationship in your life.

Are you & steve commemorating it somehow?

Joe, he has to work today (until 11).
We have a small memorial in the backyard garden...spent some time there.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
