Safari no longer works with BW.com

explain this to me...

I own a Mac powerbook G4.

I use Safari as my internet browser.

Up until yesterday, i could go to BW.com on Safari.

Now, this message comes up...

"Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.
Size of a request header field exceeds server limit"

what does that mean, and why can't i go on broadwayworld.com on Safari anymore? is anyone else having this problem?

I use safari as well, and occassionally I use explorer.
I find that, on a Mac (I also have a powerbook g4), you can use one browser for a few weeks, then you start getting that message. Then I switch to the other browser. Then it's time seems to "run out". I usually trash the browser and re-download it to get BWW.com working again.
Also, the chat room will only work from explorer.

I think this website was founded by Mac- haters.

I have the same problems with my laptop.
However, now I'm on an iMac and it's working fine.
Still have to use I.E. for the chats, though.

I use Safari for everything, including the chats. It works fine...till yesterday. and it's only broadwayworld.com


although safari does center my livejournal even though on every other browser, it's on the right.

I also use predominently Safari (on my iBook), but have never been able to access chat unless using IE...and even then, it's glitchy. But I'm on Safari right now, responding to your post, with no problem.

I also have a mac and I have never had a poblem with Safari. but i think it has more to do with the megaherts of the computer. Try explorer.

this happened to me just today with BWW

turns out I had to clear my cookies (and we all know how painful THAT can be!)

I had to go under Preferences, go to Cookies and then choose all Broadwayworld events and delete them

I'm having the same problem with IE at home on my PC and I need to use Mozilla to access it.

However, at work it works fine with IE...same version in both cases...

I've been using Safari since January and have never had a problem with anything on this site, except the chat, which has NEVER worked.
