Safari now available for Windows!

Apple has made the vastly superior Safari browser available for Windows now. I've been using Firefox but it's gotten really glitchy lately.

I downloaded and tried Safari last night and I love it.

If you're unhappy with the glitches of the IEs, Operas and Firefoxs of the world it's worth a look.

I have Safari, and prefer Firefox.

Granted, Safari is not compatible with most website hosts...

Is this a joke or does everyone just not keep up with the news?

Safari has been available for Windows since June of 2007.

I had it a while ago (and I use Windows) but I switched back to Firefox.

My computer just downloaded Safari all by itself. Maybe that's why everyone thinks its new.

I know a lot of Mac people who use Firefox... and now I hear PC people using safari?

I'm on a Mac and my Firefox has been whacked out too. When I use it for a while, new pages I open start messing up and I have to close it and re-open it. It's not a big deal. I will always prefer Firefox to Safari.

Safari doesn't have any tabs. Sometimes I have 9 different tabs opened, and Firefox keeps it organized.

Good for them though. Apple is obviously not threatened by Windows anything.

iTunes is completely compatible for Windows..iphones + ipods..now Safari.

Windows has never made a decent Windows Media Player for Mac, so we're stuck with a crappy plug-in used in Quicktime. The Internet Explorer for Mac was made 6 years ago, probably.

and Mac users can use Windows on the Mac OS, but not the other way round.

I'm a Mac user and I don't like Firefox or Safari. Every so often, Safari will hang and will not load certain pages. Firefox is just a royal pain. It's always crashing.
I have yet to find a browser on either platform that I truly like. I prefer Camino if I'm using a MAC.

I never downloaded a newer version of Safari after I got my iMac in 2006, I didn't know. Cool it.

I've been a happy little Firefox user for quite some time. I despise IE. What are the advantages to using Safari? I don't want to bother learning a whole new setup unless there are real advantages. Can anyone give me the skinny?
