Salvation Army banner ads?

I remember protesting the Salvation Army in 2001 and 2002 because they had anti-gay hiring practices. Didn't they also offer same-sex partner benefits, and then later recinded them?

Anyone else remember this? I am just a little bothered to see ads for an organization with anti-gay policies on bww.com
