OK, so we may not have Meryl Streep, but we have a damn fine production of Mother Courage and Her Children at the La Jolla Playhouse.
I saw the show last night, and I was quite impressed. I'm not going to write a full review of the show, but I pretty much agree with the San Diego Union Tribune review below.
It's playing for a few more weeks, and I encourage anyone with an interest in theatre history to see this fine production. It's very entertaining and stays pretty true to the Brechtian staging.
