Scary. Yes, this was on SNL last night and I am assuming it was meant to be funny.Listen to the audience and their reaction.

She can not even deliver a joke in a SNL skit. Ugh!

Pretty scary...

She can deliver a joke..only when she "gets" the joke. This message is so close to her actual thinking she doesn't see the humor in it.

I really thought that Palin was capable of doing more than they let her do the first time around. But after seeing that sketch, I totally get why they just put her in the middle and did the funny around her. That was obviously supposed to be funny, but it was not...at all.

Given the context that she will probably lose tonight, and I'm sure she knows it, I thought it was sort-of funny, well not quite but almost.

I would much rather see her change her career to becoming a bad comedian rather than being a bad politician. A bad comedian can still be funny in a back-handed way, but not a bad politician.

That shouldn't be too hard. After all, they're starting from a completely blank slate.

Actually last night Addy mentioned a hope that President Obama would find a place in his administration for Mr. McCain. I thought of a place for Gov. Palin too! He could make her a key part of Homeland Security. He can get her a really good pair of binoculars and then send her back home where she can keep an eye on all those godless rooskies!

I've watched this clip a couple of times, and just don't know what the hell it is supposed to be, except maybe a bit of final revenge on Palin by the SNL writers. The piece itself is desperately unfunny, which might be the joke that Tina Fey could have pulled off, but the Palin creature itself only comes off as some kind of Hannibella Lecter here.

I was going to say that while Palin was painfully unfunny, the writing itself is atrocious and I'm not sure why. I agree that it is something Tina Fey could have pulled off, but Palin just comes off as wooden, dull, and just bad.
Hillary and McCain could land the jokes... Ms.Palin, not so much.
