Angels In America - Signature Theatre

Sep 15, 2010 — 10:10:22 AM

So, Playbill says that part two opens tonight, but signature's web site says that part one is being performed tonight. Does anyone know which one is actually being performed? I'm thinking of trying the waitlist tonight, but I'd like to know what show I'm trying to see...

Google tells me that Hamlet played there as well, and since The Lion King is based on Hamlet, the kids must be crazy for Hamlet.

re: Mullally Writing KAREN: THE MUSICAL and Broadway-Bound in 2010

"Shouldn't she be distancing herself from that character, rather than embracing it? Many people already identify her strictly with Karen Walker. She's a huge talent." And if she enjoys playing that character, there's nothing wrong with her using her talent to further develop that role. She only needs to distance herself from it if she no longer wishes to play the role or be identified with it, and that doesn't seem to be the case right now.
