OK, whenever I login to BWW, I always check off "save my login info". And usually, it does. But every so often, it doesn't remember me, and I have to login again! What ever happened to cookies? Rob, Craig, anyone?

It's never once saved my login info.

I never had a problem. Then once I forgot my password and it never let me forget it... haha.

It always logs me out. I hope someone knows why.

Logout probably happens after you've been idle for a little while. It helps save strain on the BWW servers, probably. And the reason our login info isn't being saved is probably because this site doesn't have a very good cookie and our browsers' security settings are rejecting it.

This problem just surfaced for me. I thought it was some sort of Windows XP Ashcroftian feature. Glad to know it's happening to others. I appreciate the fact that BW.com may be glutted with our ego-defining presences, and needs to let some of us go sometimes just to save cybo-energy.

It's definitely happening to me. I just gave up and typed all my info in every time the page appeared. I thought that it was a cookie problem- but I guess not.

Sometimes it happens to me when I am not idle! For example, if I finally decide to respond to a post, it signs me out and I have to sign in again. Why is there a "save my login" feature if it doesn't work?

99.9% of this is related to your browser and not the site.

I never used to have this problem but over the past month or two it always does it and I have to log in EVERY time I get back on the internet.

Ckeaton- if other sites can keep me logged in, this one should be able to as well. It's not a big deal, but cookie-fixing might be called for if this is a widespread problem.

The problem just started for me as well. I used to be able to be logged into broadwayworld whenever I signed on.... now I'm lucky if I'm still logged in when I sign on.

If you ever delete your temporary internet files, it will not remember your login info next time you visit. Maybe that is the problem.

I know that. I'm talking about all in the course of about half an hour. I'm here and logged in one minute.... then I go look at another page, I come back and I'm logged out.

Yeah, it logs me off too. I'm not really sure why it just does GRRRRRR.

Check your security settings- if you have them on high, it's probably for the best, but you have to pay with inconveniences like being logged out of here.

Thanks for the security setting thing. Maybe it's part of a new crackdown on Windows XP. How many people are using these later versions of Windows, and keep doing the updates that scream at us in those white pop-ups? Is that it? Is that it?
