The fight to preserve historic Grant Road farm in Mountain View!
Did you know that California has the richest/best soil in all of America? Who knew? Obviously, not many ... because developers keep bulldozing our precious environment after city councils give them the OK!
This is a cause which I feel extremely passionately about and am working to promote:

I sincerely hope that you take part :) If you can, please promote it as much as possible. Any local farm is always worth preserving, especially now, when more and more are unfortunately vanishing.
If you care about the well-being of this planet, the environment and our future, then I strongly urge you to become involved!
Yes, this is about preserving a valuable asset to our community. But, in a way, it is also about more than that; it is about making people aware of the environment, substainability, and how and why it needs to be protected for the good of ourselves as a society and as a planet.
In that case, we don't just need support from the community of Mountain View; rather, we need support from wherever we can get it; however far away we can get it. People need to wake up and realize that the environment -- our environment -- is so very precious, and so vital to our existence and where we come from, and with every parcel of farmland/open space destroyed, we are killiing ourselves and our future faster and faster.
When you go outside and stand in an open meadow or field, with the sun shining down and the wind in your face, let me ask you this: are material things really that much greater than the experience you're having right now?
