BTW, here's a hee-larious article from Salon.com from a guy who actually watched Fox News all last night. Love his description of McCain
Just A Standard Election...
Did he just admit to being nuts?

Saw a few seconds of it when I went down to get my mail. Kind of fun to do it with 40 people gathered in front of the TV and sn*ing.
I caught the bit where he talks about how we have to "finish the job" or else al Qaeda has a safe haven blah blah...who's fault is that?! God, it took me 20 seconds to go from smug and back to enraged all over again. Mr. Smirky has that effect on me.
"I obviously was working harder on the campaign than he was" (referring to his book reading contest with Rove)
Credit where credit is due--THAT was hilarious!!
YOU DON'T GET DO-OVERS!
This is gold.
Did someone say, "mandate"?
"I read those same polls and I thought Americans would realize the importance of taxes and security."
So he basically just insulted the American people.
WHAT THE?!?!

That was really something to see. I can't tell if I was watching a man who finally, clearly realizes that he's got nothing left to lose so he was just going to have to stop with the complete denial of reality (everything's fine, Iraq is great!) and be as honest as he is constitutionally capable of, or if something snapped in him.
I mean, he actually, out loud, in a language approximating English, at LONG last admitted that Iraq is NOT going well.
That strikes me as completely monumental.
