With that opening line for his press conference that just began, W just proved that yes, there IS a worse joke teller in the US than John Kerry.

OMG, he just made a "Republican interior decorator" joke to help Nancy Pelosi pick out her new drapes.
Is that the career Mark Foley and Ted Haggard have gone into as they've "transitioned" to their new chapters?
For once I'm really sorry I'm at work and can't watch the press conference.
I hear Ted Haggard gets the job done in 15 minutes. Twenty minutes, tops.
Stop, George. My sides.
Haggard can do it in 3 if he actually uses the meth.
Hey, this is the first time Ive actually listened to Bush. He's not so bad, when he's admitting defeat.

He makes John Kerry look like Lenny Bruce.
"Haggard can do it in 3 if he actually uses the meth."
Where have you been, Hamlet? We've missed you. Oh, sorry, Namo. I'VE missed you.
He is so lost without the smugness.
He wants to go there and realizes he can't and it is killing him.

It's fun to own our own experiences, isn't it?
The President FINALLY, at long last, JUST admitted that he actually wasn't successful at changing the tone of civility in Washington, as he promised six years ago.
At long last, he FINALLY thought of something he did wrong. Two years to answer that question!
He is feeling much more comfortable now that he is getting to lie about how this decision had nothing to do with the election.
The "interior decorator" comment spoke volumes about his world view of women, didn't it? Right up there with massaging the German president's neck at the G8 Summit...
And he just admitted he lied to the press last week about Rumsfeld resigning... "Mr. President, you said last week that he wasn't leaving...what changed?" "Nothing changed. I just didn't want to interject it into the election..."

Rove must be in a coma. I can NOT believe he is allowing W to deliver this surrender speech. I'm glad to hear it, it sounds like for once and for all he's joined the much derided by talk radio extremists: the reality-based community.
I think his best quote so far was, " I thought we were going to do ok yesterday, goes to show what I know." I think we've alreadys known the answer to that question for quite sometime now.
"Mr. President, you said last week that he wasn't leaving...what changed?" "Nothing changed. I just didn't want to interject it into the election..."
It continues to blow my mind that the majority of this country has trusted this smarmy frat boy for so long.

Did they just beep out something Bush said on NBC?
Did they just CENSOR the PRESIDENT?
The response to the question about how the "democrats win, the terrorists win" was , "What has changed is the Democrats won" That sounds like him just playing politics to me.
I'm not in front of the tv. I need details!!!!
I don't know what that loud beep was either. I am confused.
He is coming off as less smug but an even bigger ass.

"Overall, the results weren't close. It was a thumpin'."
And he had to repeat that gem of a line.
"
He is coming off as less smug but an even bigger ass."
i wasnt aware that was possible.
just don't forget..."This isn't his first time at the rodeo."
BTW, here's a hee-larious article from Salon.com from a guy who actually watched Fox News all last night. Love his description of McCain
Just A Standard Election...
Did he just admit to being nuts?
