I've been pretty violent once or twice when I just lost it. I dunno, I think violence can be pretty scary. And thinking back on it I was really going a bit insane, so more so scary thinking back on it.

hmmm....Well, I've kicked a hole in my wall when I was a bit younger (actually, it was a few a holes)

I tried starving myself and not drinking...*can you tell that didn't work?*

I tried jumping out my window until my dad pulled me back into the house.

Ok- I better stop before I sound like a psycho

I guess they weren't really scary, per se, more irrational

I wouldn't even go with anything physical. I've said things to hurt people I love when I'm mad enough at them, and the ability of words to be infinitely powerful is just as scary as misused physical strength. If there's one thing that scares me about myself, it's my ability to hurt those I love.

emcee... I've actually done the same and agree. I've said some stupid things before and I always feel so bad But it was really mroe when I was younger, since I've pretty much learned how to stop myself.

I've never been so out of control as to do something physical, but I have on the very rare occassion said some mean things. My oldest brother has a wicked temper, though. He's had to learn to walk away because he can become very violent. (He used to have eight glasses at his apartment. Now there are four.)

I almost wrecked my car. When I was a teenager my favorite thing to do to let off steam was a drive really fast on the curvy back roads of my small town. I took a very sharp turn at about 80 because I was really mad. After I lost control for a few seconds and almost went into a river I calmed down and drove home. I have since found safer ways of dealing with anger and stress. I play with my dogs. I can throw a tennis ball really hard really far and it just makes my dogs happy.

Wow...I used to think I was insane because I kicked a hole in the wall a few years ago because my mom used a cliched phrase (Using cliched phrases and doing those stupid "thinking noises" (Like: What is two plus two? "Oh...umm...hmmm...hmmm...(drums fingers on desk)...hmmm...hmmm...(smacks lips)(smacks lips)(smacks lips)...you could...(smack smack)..." I HATE THAT!) will set me off for some reason...) but now....I feel better!

I often chuck things around my room...but I'm way anal retentive, so I usually end up more angry then when I started because I've created a mess to clean up on top of it.

And to the person who speeds, I've done similar, although I'm not too bad with it. I'd never go 80 around a turn lol, regardless, I try to keep myself alive!

And good for you learnign a different way to get rid of anger. It makes your dogs happy and you feel better, killing two birds with one stone. :) Aw man, I miss my dogs (especially the one in my avatar)

One time i pushed a kid who was on cruthces to the ground.

in my defense i was in the 3rd grade and he tried to jab me in the stomache with them.

(I grabbed the end of it as he jabbed at me, and just pushed, he fell.)

Let's go back to my fencing days *reminisces*

One time, I entered the gym for my daily 3-hour training angry. Thanks to an extensive arguement with my mom, I was also late. My then-friend decided to annoy me, so I whacked him with my sabre very hard. He cried, and I tried to helped him to get better so he could fence me. 5 minutes later, he was literately beaten by me during our match and had to go home.

I don't remember why I was mad now, but a class had REALLY gotten on my last nerve. As a teacher of course, I had to contain my anger which I thought I was doing a good job of. I went to pull down the screen to use the overhead, and I ripped the whole thing off the wall! Of course, the kids thought it was funny, and that broke the tension, but they STILL talk about it now, a year later (I have kids for two years) and tell the new kids "Don't get him mad or he'll break the screen again!"

Lots of stuff I'm not proud of, but one was scary because it was a complete accident. I threw a heavy plastic trashcan against the wall and it bounced off and hit my mom in the head.

jasonf, you did a better job than my algebra teacher. I was whispering to my friend in the back of the room and all of a sudden he just roars "(my name) SHUT THE HELL UP!"

The whole class went dead silent and no one spoke for the rest of the period. My friends used to talk about it for years afterwards "Remember the time Mr. Walker went off on you?" I think he was just pissed because I unintentionally started a rumor that he was gay.

When I was a teenager, someone did something to hurt my little sister - I blacked out and attacked him. When I came to, he was in the hospital with multiple broken bones and punctured organs - and he didn't regain consciousness for three days. I realized then that I had fury inside me - a lifetime of abuse can lead to that.

It's the only fight I've ever been in in my life.

And I got rid of the rage
