So my stats are gone?
Now the world will never know of my best bingo. I think it was grubworms.

I've yet to play Wordscraper. I'm still finishing up the hateful scrabble beta games I have.

OK here's my issue. If a company started printing "Scrabulous" board games, they'd get shut down in a minute and probably sued for obvious copyright infringement. But On line, they get slapped on the wrist and start it back up again. Most people are grumbling that Scrabble should have bought it from them and rewarded them for improving the game. I just don't understand why suddenly copyrights mean nothing.

But let's face it, this isn't a drug that will save lives or even a necessary product- it's a computer game. And I'd make the alternate point- that if Scrabble hadn't been invented Scrabulous wouldn't exist. I think this whole "Internet mindset" has made it "OK" to steal the products of one's hard work and creativity.

I don't think they got a slap on the wrist. Isn't the case still pending?

Here, take a look at this article. People are flat out DEMANDING that copyright no longer exists, or as this genius asserts "You'd think in modern times where the pace of progress, marketing and distribution is supposed to be so much faster that copyright and patent terms would be getting shorter and shorter. In modern times I think 14 years would be more than long enough. 7 years would put greater pressure on people to keep making something new and better." Or this Einstein who says "A better prospective would be, lets get everyone playing our games online. No matter who runs the games; heck, it is even better if other companies run the services because that would be less money for Hasbro to dish out." written by a man who never created anything, no doubt.

I don't like either the new Scrabulous OR the new FaceBook Scrabble (tm) application.
They both stink.
i hope you'll all buy my new book. i took a boring old thing that no one even remembers and put a new hot spin on it. i know you'll all love it!

And I am sure it's MUCH more popular than that tired old dead tree edition hardly anyone reads.
exactly, joe! man, i'm glad someone understands. i got rid of all the stupid words. changed some names to more modern ones. of course lost all the caps (except on the cover and that was the damn publichers, y'know). it's the sh*t.

Are you sure?
Not only has the "Scrabulous" icon and link under my Applications panel been deleted, but when I search for Scrabulous I get this message:
"The page you requested was not found.
You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the address. Some web addresses are case sensitive."
Before, I just got that message in the yellow box saying Scrabulous was temporarily suspended for US and Canada users. Now, I get nuthin', nada, zip.
I think it would be more correct to say, "The guys who made Scrabulous are back with a game called WordScraper that is similar to Scrabulous but maybe won't get them sued." It's just less snappy that way.
