I loved Selena, what a tragedy. If she was still alive, I think she would be a lot like Jennifer Lopez in terms of celebrity. Only she actually sang.

I loved Selena and her music. That was a tragic loss. She was a beautiful person and a wonderful singer.

I loved her! I remember when I was a lot younger and hearing about when she died. It was so sad! She was amazing.

I too love Selena. She was so young and pretty. It was J-Ho's only great performance playing her.

J-Lo performing a Selena song in concert, getting all "choked up" before whispering "I miss you Selena" and carrying on with the song has to be seen to be believed. It couldn't be more fake if she tried. And she obviously did.

I realise that this isn't the thread to say that, but still.

i know. some people on this board feel the need to post their "hatred" for performers at the drop of a dime even when it wasn't asked of them. this thread should have been about people who acknowledge the immense talent Selena left behind after her untimely death. but no, just because jennifer lopez played her in a bio pic (and gave an amazingly good performance, by the way) people then feel the need to unload their bullsh!t views on jennifer lopez.

fine, hate jennifer, but do so on another thread.
