Selling theatre memorabilia?

I'm spring cleaning and I have hordes of old Playbills, InTheatre magazines, signed souvenier brochures, posters, books, etc (all broadway-theatre related) that I simply don't have room for anymore. Instead of just tossing them, I'd like to find them good homes.. I'm not really looking to make tons of money, enough to cover shipping on some items and maybe a few extra dollars...

Anyone know where I could list a sale like that? It wouldn't be very appropriate for ebay (just too much stuff, some collectible, some would be more of interest for sentimental reasons)... is there a board somewhere that's like a "trading post"? suggestions??

re: Selling theatre memorabilia?

I haven't compiled a list yet... like I said above... I'm just looking to get rid of Playbills, souvenier programs and other stuff that I collected for years and just no longer have room for. I'd like to find good homes for it. Once I figure out how to find some folks that might be interested, I'll take some time a make a list... (a LONG list..)

re: Selling theatre memorabilia?

Let me know too through PM.

I actually just did the same thing yesterday. I have a big trunk in my closet that was overflowing with old theatre stuff. I bought a bookcase last week to file everything on. I found some neat stuff that I forgot I had. I organized all my Playbill Magazines in chronological order and then alphabetized all my Playbills from shows. I found some autographs that I forgot I had as well.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.
