Sending large files over Internet recomendations?

I have 2 large files (each about 750mb) that I want to send to a friend. My preference would be to upload to a site and send my friend a link for each file for downloading. Looking for something easy and preferably free. Any recommendations?

Megaupload or Sendspace

I believe Sendspace's file size limit is 300MB. Megaupload.com is the only site that allows files of up to 1Gb. At least they used to, check the site's FAQ to make sure.

Yes, Megaupload still allows just over a gb. I use Gigasize, but I think it's free limit is 600 MB (like most of them, you can send bigger stuff by paying a few bucks a month for a premium account).

Just avoid Rapidshare. I don't know why people are so crazy about that crappy site.

Megaupload was a success. Easy to use. A few clicks and you are done. And free!
