This Thursday. First time a host has taken part in the announcement since 1972.
This is the first Oscar telecast I've been excited for in years.

How long will it take McFarlane to make the inevitable Sally Field "you like me" joke?

I'm just crossing my fingers for a good crop of nominees; well deserved nominees. If Denzel is nominated for his dime-a-dozen, one-trick pony crap in that overrated "Flight," I'm gonna throw something at my television.
He's got a very good shot at being nominated so be sure it's a pillow you throw.

Without dime-a-dozen one trick pony crap folks like Kevin Spacey and Phillip Seymour Hoffman wouldn't have careers, and that'd be fine with me.
...or Anne Hathaway wouldn't be getting a nomination this year.

Thanks Tazber, I'll keep something light by my side. :P
Philip Seymour Hoffman, one trick pony??? HA! We'll have to agree to disagree on that one ... I've seen him exhibit more versatility in one role than Washington has in his entire body of work.
...but not his entire body. :-p

The question is, will Seth be able to resist the urge to use one of his cartton voices, at least until he announces the Best Animated Film nominees?
