I'm a big big big fan of the one where Carrie is dating the politician. Who likes it wet and wild. Which is over the line for Carrie, so she breaks up with him. A fine example of the stupidity of giving up a good thing for one little "fault."
Actually, that's just one of my many faves from that series.

I love that episode.
I know this girl who uses Sex and the City plots to embellish her boring sex life to all her friends. It is so funny! Some one once called her on it and she said, "Oh, I never watch TV." And we all laughed.

I love the one where Carrie thinks Aidan is boring and goes to the gay club...mostly love it because it's John Corbett as his most adorable..."K period. F period. C period." And she comes home and he's asleep with his hand in the bucket..
Oh and the one where Aidan moves in and they get into the fight and the Rogaine is discovered. "It's preventative!"
And when Carrie and Aidan go to the country and Big meets them and Aidan and Big fight.
Um, yeah. I love Aidan.
PS and the fashion show "More like Ed Has-no-Harris".

I love the first episode of Season 5. It's the one with the sailors and fleet week, and it's dedicated to NYC because it was made after 9/11. Carrie goes to see Joie Pour Deux by herself. This episode also contains the famous scene in which her skirt blows up. Sarah Jessica Parker was pregnant in this season.
The last shot is just priceless. Carrie is walking in Times Square, and the screen goes to black and white, and at the last second she flares her big coat out.
I just love it so much. It makes me happy!

Actually, it was he who broke up with her. His campaign manager thought it would be inappropriate for a politician to be dating a sex columnist. Carrie retaliates by airing his dirty laundry, so to speak, in her column.

I love all those episodes mentioned so far....Gotta love Aidan!
Another favorite is the episode named "One" from the first part of the 6th season...Just a really sweet episode, with Steve and Miranda proclaiming their love, Samantha dying her *hair*, and
Charlotte getting over her miscarriage...Beautiful.

Posted: 10/24/05 at 12:14pmAnd the last episode was pretty flawless... Especially Miranda caring for her mother-in-law.

Posted: 10/24/05 at 12:18pmOMG I cried so much during that whole episode, especially in that scene....But when Carrie walked into the restaurant where the other three girls were sitting, and Miranda started screaming...I lost it. I still can't watch that scene without shedding a tear.

I love the episode where they go to the gay club. If only for the line "I'd been having so much fun with my gay boyfriend, I'd forgotten all about my gay husband." Heh.
I also really like the episode where Nathan Lane guest starred. I wsa watching it for the first time on DVD while I was on a plane, and everyone was staring at me because I was completely cracking up.
And the last episode was perfect. Just everything was setting me off crying, it was so great.

I love the 2nd to last episode (I think) of Season 2, when Samantha's assistant, Nina G, steals her PR contacts and attempts to throw a blow out party in the Hamptons.
"You are SO coked out!"
"You are SO jealous!"

Two stand out - "Are We Sluts?" in which Charlotte's new beau can't climax without calling her a bunch of dirty names, which causes the women to examine their sexual histories. (One of my favorite moments is when Miranda is compiling the list of men she's had sex with and one line simply reads "Guy from Deli." I've been there, Mir...). Meanwhile, Samantha's late night guest inadvertently lets a burglar into her building, causing the building to turn against her and Samantha to refer to herself as "F*ckenstein."
The other one that comes to mind is "My Motherboard, Myself," in which Miranda's mother dies and each of the women responds to the situation in their own way. Samantha's cathartic moment in the church always makes me cry, too.

Two from the early years stand out in my mind...
When Charlotte gets addicted to "The Rabbit" and the girls stage an intervention...
The one where Carrie has been dating Big for only a short period of time, and she farts in the bed. And throughout the episode, you keep hearing the fart replay over and over in her head, because she's mortified. It's hysterical.

Oh jeez.... you all make me want to bust out my DVDs and I cant cause they're in storage!!!!! Dammit!
Some standouts for me..... the episode where Miranda's mom dies, as another poster mentioned. Also the episode where Big comes back to NY for his heart surgery. The moment when he's got that really high fever and he's in bed and he asks Carrie "what are we doing? really?" Oh god, I teared up so bad.
I love the last episode(s). Love, love, love. I dont think I've ever cried as much at any tv show or movie as I did at those 2 episodes. When Big shows up at Carrie's apartment, wanting to talk and realizing he's made a mistake..... then Carrie calls Miranda from Paris, missing her friends and so upset.... Big calls Carrie's apartment, Charlotte picks up when she hears the message and sets for him to meet with her and the girls. He sits there, confesses his love for Carrie and Miranda leans over and says "go get our girl." Big goes to Paris looking for Carrie, she gets into a fight with Petrovsky and he walks in just as she's picking up the pieces of her broken necklace...... Of course, then when she walks into brunch and the girls go crazy. I just cried and cried like nobody's business.
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...

Are We Sluts from Season 3 is my favorite.
I also love Shortcomings from Season 2 (just watched it last night) where Carrie is dating the writer who can't seem to get the "Cadillac in the garage" as Samantha put it.
