Shaquille O'Neal captures gay basher!

Just heard on CNN that big, Big, BIG Shaquille O'Neal witnessed a guy threatening a gay couple in Miami, and after the basher hit one of the men Shaq chased him down and held him until the cops arrived.

My hero!

First Kanye critiques the anti-gay vibe in a lot of hip hop and now this.

Oh yeah, but I think it's just such an incredible image to have a man that LARGE chasing somebody who was picking on fags.

The other part of the story is that Shaq is in training to be a reserve cop in Miami.

He didn't exactly capture a gay basher. He saw someone throw a bottle and shout some slurs at someone and then followed them to their home and alerted an off duty police officer.

It's still admirable, but the thread title makes it sounds like he had a long battle and then trapped him in netting hanging off a building a'la Batman.
