Sharon Stone is hot and sexy in her late 40's, her Katherine Tramell didn't let me down at all, she is as evil and as sexy as always. The movie pushes every envelope. This is the best thriller i have seen in a long time. Stone's chemistry with David Morrissey is electric. Morrissey looks and acts better than Michael Douglas. Not a Pullitzer Prize, but great entertainment. Michael Caton-Jones does a great job with the direction. Sharon is back!!! and it's good to see her.

There was more sex in the teaser trailer they had released on the internet a couple of months ago. There was nothing sexy about it.

OH. MY. GOD.
I went to see this solely for Charlotte Rampling whom I LOVE, and this movie is the worst piece of s--t I have *ever* seen. If it hadn't been for Rampling, I would have walked out. Stone is absolutely laughable - she doesn't act in this movie, she just says her lines veeeeeeeery slowly and melodramatically and tries to be sexy all the time...It's crazy how bad she is. She looks botoxed out of her mind and her boobs are the fakest I've seen in a long time. There is absolutely NO chemistry betweeen her and Morissey, NO character work on Stone's part, and the sexier she tries to appear, the more ridiculous she is.
It's not even bad enough to be campy. It's just BAD.

The NY POST review was hilarious!
"If you're curious as to whether Stone, 77, takes the opportunity to spread her, um, wings as an actress, she doesn't. She just slithers around moaning come-ons in an attempted throaty purr that, if you closed your eyes, would make you think of a female impersonator. Actually, even with your eyes open you might think that, given the comically drag-queeny poses she strikes in, for instance, a halter-top catsuit or a how-many-raccoons-had-to-die-for-this coat. At this point, there are inflatable toys that are livelier than Stone, but how can you tell the difference? "Basic Instinct 2" is not an erotic thriller. It's taxidermy."
