to the people who insist on harping about something they can't change until election day...

SHUT UP ALREADY!!

"Applause begets applause in the theatre, as laughter begets laughter and tears beget tears." CLAYTON HAMILTON, "Theory of the Theatre" "I think theater ought to be theatrical ... you know, shuffling the pack in different ways so that it's -- there's always some kind of ambush involved in the experience. You're being ambushed by an unexpected word, or by an elephant falling out of the cupboard, whatever it is." TOM STOPPARD

No--you can Shut UP. I know you GOPs like censorship and silencing expression, but to that I say, SHUT UP.

Thank you. re: Shut UP!

I thought this thread was going to be about the sexy song with the same name from singer/songwriter Nick Lachey.

"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."

I frankly don't care if we have censorship, and to lump us all together as sharing one belief is just plain ignorant. If that's what you believe perhaps you should just stay home on election day and let the intelligent people do the voting instead. Yeah, you've got a right to your say...but when your say makes no sense whatsoever except for to blow smoke up the ass of a whole political party..then I find it to be totally unnecessary. It's funny how rare it is that the GOPs on most discussion boards speak their political point of view and that's that, while the Democrats speak their point of view while taking cheap pot shots at all GOPs. Do you folks have nothing better to do?

I sure don't. And this is a musical theatre board. Hence, the majority of us are democrats. That's the way it is. If you want a republican board, go talk about guns or the Klan. Us fags see things differently.

LOL--I knew that would rile you up. If you had really been reading my posts in the political threads, you would know that I was grouping you to be a lil sh!t.

But, seriously speaking, people have a right to gripe. Yes, you have a right to gripe about us griping, but I have a right to gripe about you griping about us griping. re: Shut UP!

Chill.

oh, and SHUT UP! re: Shut UP!

THAT could have been the dumbest thing I've ever read! I think I felt my IQ lowering as I read it. To think that gay vs straight makes a difference in political point of view is bad enough but to actually type it out, that's just plain ludicrous. And then...we get to the klan and guns. Stupidity is contagious, you know that right? Did your parents tell you that all Republicans support the Klan and gun activism? Well then tell them from this Republican to....

"SHUT UP"

To all of us who think politics is something we have a reason to argue...

Let's just all "SHUT UP!"

"To think that gay vs straight makes a difference in political point of view is bad enough but to actually type it out, that's just plain ludicrous."

Well, like or not, it does. The majority (notice I did not say all) of Republicans don't support gay marriage or gay rights in general. And the majority (once again, not all) of Democrats do.

jrb: "us" usually includes the one with the original idea re: Shut UP!

i still refuse to believe that gay vs straight is a political issue. it's a bunch of self-concerned people who can't appreciate difference. and if those supposed republicans can't appreciate that people will be different, then perhaps they have no place in politics.

yes dear, I am...but not because of his stance on gay marriage. he doesn't intend to raise gas prices another 50 cents like mr kerry, along with the fact that I adamantly support his war policy. (don't go there...I refuse to argue about war)

and bwsinger...look back honey, i didn't start the political thing.

Add to that joey, all people who talk during the movie, either to the screen or each other, and who eat really loudly during serious, moving films.

SHUT. UP.
