Rented this movie last night and wasnt expecting it to be as good as it was. I really loved it. Especially the way it ended. It was fresh, funny, and even truly moving at some points. Thomas Haden Church and Paul Giamatti were hy-friggin-sterical. Virginia Madsen and Sandra Oh were wonderful as well. A really beautiful movie. I highly reccomend it.
I'm seeing the movie this weekend, as part of a wine tasting party among very close friends.
A wine tasting party seems like a perfect time to see this film. I think a nice wine and cheese gala is in order when I check it out again.
I LOVE that idea!
Note to self: invite friends over for wine and cheese and to watch the DVD!
I need to see this movie. I here nothing but great things about it.
Come to NY and watch it with me
Oh wow! That's so sweet Addy! I wish I could! Wine, cheese, Addy, movie...sounds like a great nite to me!!
Beave, I bought it. I've only watched it once since I brought it home...but am looking forward to seeing it again and again.
Marquise, just let me know when
ROFL! No, so I FINALLY got to hear that scene!
(oh my, what a memory!)
I heard the commentary track on the DVD is great --
this is a terrific film and that area of California is wonderful -- have been to SB wine region often!
Now K is going to smile and promise to bring a great pinot to Addy's and worm an invitation!
Invitation extended, K! Invitation extended!!
of course you too, Cookie!
And, beave, there will be no Merlot during the screening!
I listened to Church and Giamatti's commentary track over the weekend. It was really funny. I loved this movie, and it seems like all those involved had an amazingly fun time making it!
