Simpsons character to come out of the closet?

I love the Simpsons. Supposedly a character on the show is coming out of the closet and getting married in January! Any guesses? (Methinks it's Patty, but hoping it's Lenny and Carl!)

I'm thinking it's going to be a character that no one will have thought of, like when there was going to be a death on the show, Maude kind of came out of nowhere. Lenny and Carl have always had a homoerotic relationship, so it might not be them. Smithers is the obvious choice, but that's a bit too obvious.

They've pretty much outed Smithers so it wouldn't be him. Martin is too young to get married. Lenny and Carl are a bit obvious. Patti and Selma are also obvious. Maybe Krusty? Mrs Crabapple?

What about Millhouse?

Though he is only 8....a bit too young to marrry...

And he had the thing with Lisa...

But something about him just makes me think "gay". Hmm...should be interesting!

The death of Maude wasn't out of the air; the actress doing the voice left the show. For awhile, they got someone else to do the voice, but it didn't quite sound the same (listen to a couple of episodes right before the death of Maude). So they had to kill her off.

What was out-of-the-air was how they killed her off! WTF?! LOL

I'm still crossing my fingers for Lenny and Carl! They make such a cute couple. But I bet it's Patti.

Part of what's funny about Lenny and Carl is that they're not gay but they act like they're together. I wouldn't want that dynamic ruined.

But....
- Skinner is engaged to Crabapple (actually, I think they've even got married already.)
- Wiggum has a wife; she has violet hair.

I always suspected there was something up with that bone in Sideshow Mel's hair....

I don't think it's going to be Skinner. He has already shocked the town by announcing that he's not actually Seymour Skinner. They'll give this to someone else, I'm betting.
