May be it's Ned, or may be Rod and Todd? I seem to remember a futureistic Simpsons where Ned thanks Bart for not outing Rod and Todd. SO may be....

I hope it's Moe, I can't get enough of him since they amped up his seediness a few years back. If it's Moe, there's no telling what kinda guy he'll bring into Springfield.

You gotta admit, Flanders would be unexpected, but I think it very well could be either skinner or perhaps Barney, what do we know of this drunk, one can only wonder.
You, you are the worst thing to happen to musical theater since Andrew Lloyd Webber... and you I just don't like you.

I just hope it's the focal point in the episode, not some weird and random plot hijacking - like when they came to Toronto. The entire city was so excited about that....until we watched the episode and found out their visit was for 10 minutes.

Sometime in January. At least that's what the article says.

Well, the plot is: Springfield needs more money, so they legalize gay marriage. Homer becomes a minister, and said character comes to him to get married.

I'm not supposed to reveal this because I have an in at The Simpsons. But one of the joys of posting anonymously is that I can spill the beans without getting caught. Woo-hoo!

The character who comes out of the closet next season is:

(Spoiler!)
(You have been warned!)
(Don't look if you don't want to know!)
(I'm serious!)

it's...

Boborunstheshow!

Don't tell them you heard it from me! He's a very minor and self-described "unimportant" character, but he marries Homer's old secretary, Karl (voiced by Harvey Fierstein).

Karl was a great character. My God I Know!

Damn, Namo. I was hoping it would be Frank "Grimey" Grimes.

Great to hear it's Karl who is getting married. Great character, so mysterious and sexy. I always suspected that Karl swung our way. I love Harvey!

They already brought back Frank Grimes' twin [correction: son] (?); that was a bit of a stretch, so bringing him back yet again would be too much (plus, he thought Marge was "hot").

Yay for people with connections! I love the Simpsons, it's my favourite show on TV. Thanks, Namo! *smooch*

I believe it was Frank Grimes' son, Frank Grimes Jr. That wasn't a great episode, but Sideshow Bob can do no wrong (especially when he's singing I've Grown Accustomed to Your Face).
#46

My God I Know!

That was Grimes' son. Grimes was killed and Homer had them write "Grimey" on his tombstone. Than he fell asleep at the funeral and said "Change the channel, Marge!" and everyone started laughing.

Priceless.

So who on the Simpsons describes himself as "unimportant"?
