...I thought I'd ask how your day went. Any strange occurences?I unwrapped a chocolate and it was one of those kinds with something written on the inside of the wrapper and it said 'Call an Old Friend'. As soon as I read it, the phone rang and it was someone I hadn't spoken to in a few months. Very wierd.
Anyone have a strange coincidences that they'd like to share?
Right after I read this, a friend of mine who I haven't spoke to in a long time called me... very strange

Mmmm... nope. First time in a long time that nothing weird happened on Friday the 13th for me. I did have a few weird (but in a good way) things happen... nothing awful though. My Friday the 13th's are usually 'whatever can go wrong, WILL go wrong'

My Friday the 13th was interesting. I was at a go-see for a designer to model in a fashion week runway show. After modeling the clothes and walking they said to me: "Thank you for redeeming you're agency. None of the other girls could walk" LOL :)
Does the hurricane count? Hopefully it'll just come and it won't get any weirder than that. It's coming right over me now...we were originally just supposed to get the outer rain bands.

Agh, you wouldn't want our humidity, it's muggy. Think 70 degrees, cloudy, and muggy. BLAH! I hate the humidity and heat, I'd take fall weather for it anyday.
Oh, I love humidity! Hot and muggy is comfortable to me, I love that kind of weather. (Except for what is does to my hair, it's curly/wavy and it goes all frizzy on me sometimes) And seventy degrees is not hot to me, I am always cold. I would love to trade with you.
I am the opposite. I can't stand the cold, and I always am. I have a circulation disorder (nothing remotely serious, just extemely irritating) and so I am pretty much always freezing. My toes go numb a lot too, really annoying... bleh.
Definitely bleh! I have a friend who has that, his hands are always different shades of blue or purple lol. I ask him in class everyday "What color are your hands today, Tom?"

That's the one. My hands are like ice and they are usually an odd shade of red/purple/blue and people think there's something wrong. I feel for Tom. It drives me crazy when I shake hands with people and they always say "Oh, your hands are so cold!..." I know they are cold. No need to tell me.
Wow, sorry for ranting. It's just a pet peeve of mine.
LOL it's not a mean thing, he's the one who calls out "They're blue today! WOOO!!!"
I feel for you for sure, my pet peeve with handshakes is when the person doesn't return a firm handshake. I always feel like I'm squeezing too hard lol
You do need to be careful that they are not TOO firm, though. There are some people I go out of my way to avoid just so I will not have to shake their hand because I am afraid of getting my fingers broken.
My hands are actually normal looking now, typing gets the blood flowing.
Agh, another pet peeve with communication of mine, no eye contact! I sound like a freakin business man ie. firm handshake, eye contact, but jeez, it's just polite lol
It's also just nice to not feel unwanted in a conversation. It's basic manners, in my opinion, to keep eye contact and such. I also hate it when people are standing around in a circle and talking and someone moves in front of you. I don't like being cut off.
If I absolutely have to walk between people talking, I make it a point I say "Excuse me, I'm very sorry" directly to the people talking. I can't stand when people walk through and say nothing...it's like "HEY! I was having a conversation!!!"
