It's already well into June, and my sinuses have gone wild. I stopped my allergy medicine last week, as I'm usually ok by June. But now I've had to take it again, as everything is acting up again.
I just want to enjoy summer!
Anyone else completely over having allergy issues?
AMEN TO THAT!!!
They're killing me...and the meds do nothing but dry me out...BOO allergies.
ditto here, but I have year round allergies, but the summer they get 10 times worse. Just had a bad nose bleed due to a sinus infection which means time to go back to the allergist, which I'm dreading. He keeps wanting to put me on shots, which I really have been putting off and just saying that my meds are working even if they aren't working as well as I'd hoped. *sighs*

I am having the worst time EVER! My allergies have never been this bad. I cant take pills, never have been able to. So they just keep getting worse. I want it to be over and done with.... bring on summer!
about two weeks ago, i was thinking "hey i didn't get hit hard this year" and then every tree on our street came into bloom all at once and i was in bed sleeping off a double dose of benedryl for two days.
I don't have allergies, but I sympathize with you all. I, for one, hate being sick and I can't begin to imagine what it must be like.
It's awful! Unfortunately, I'm allergic to pollen, which means that anywhere there are flowers, there are itchy eyes and runny noses for me. Normally, I do fine with my Benadryl throughout spring and summer, but my allergies have been AWFUL lately, and I'm trying to figure out medications to switch to. Today, I have a really runny nose and a pounding headache, but I can't tell if it's allergies or a cold. Which sucks.
Me as well. I'm allergic to pollen, which makes going outside in our garden very hard, I'll go completely crazy.
Summer's great, but it really gets on my nerves sometimes...

I just had an allergy shot today. Been taking them since March and I still don't notice a difference. I'm told they work, but that you have to take them for years for them to be really effective. I just want some relief. I'm allergic to dust and mold, so my allergies are really year round.
I've noticed some improvement as the amount of pollen in the air has decreased but my allergies have been contributing to sleep apnea, which I would like resolved.
I wish Cytos would hurry up w/ their allergy vaccines - they work like desensitisation, except they're safer and faster:
