Why did he kill them?
He had all kinds of traps-- some that killed them, some that didn't. Sometimes, he'd catch them with his bare hands, stuff them in cages, drive twenty miles, and drop them off at a park. He was a really mild-mannered guy, but he was CRAZY about his quest to wipe out pretty much every squirrel ever.

Because one night I was coming home and a bunch of them surrounded me and started chirping like crazy. I had to make a mad dash through them to get in my apartment.
Of course I was drunk at the time, but that's the way I remember it and they've freaked me out ever since....LOL

Squirrels are creepy animals. I would never hurt them or anything, but they are just creepy. One jumped out of a trash can in front of my sister's dorm, practically in our direction. I also used to take walks around Scranton, and they would be everywhere eating trash. My favorite one was on the library steps at my university and it decided 3 feet away from me was enough. I also have almost stepped on chipmunks on that campus.

JG, I think that second squirrel is on steroids (and it has exceptionally long nails).
Definitely nightmare-inducing!
