it's the end of an era.
on a completely unrelated note, i am a fanatic - ok, maybe just a fan - about the show reaper and there is a character on the show called sock. i giggle a little everytime i hear his name and put a different screenname to his face.

No. The troll never has the last laugh, even when his posting approaches diarrhea-level.
Not as long as he keeps getting exactly what he wants.
We have the last laugh because we chime in when we feel like pulling another leg off the spider, and then we go away, laughing and forgetting about it, while he (or she) posts and posts and posts.
But you don't really go away. The troll keeps posting and you keep responding. I mean, I think you think you're pulling the legs of the spider, when actually you're giving the spider legs. And the spider is laughing from one web to the next as the flies willingly ensnare themselves.

I think this thread perfectly illustrates why the troll feeders feed the trolls.
There have only been about two points made in this thread. They've been repeated over and over. Just like when a troll posts. No one is willing to concede so...the posts continue.
