I know I am! I think she is absolutely hot! Who else and what's your favorite song? Any haters please just overlook this post.

I think some of her songs are catchy, although I don't see the logic in spelling a song as "Sk8er Boi" instead of...well...how it should be. She doesn't seem very bright, but she's Canadian and at least she writes most of her own songs, and she's a better role model than Lindsay or those tramps (aside from her Maxim cover) so I respect her for that.

I have the opportunity to see her at a tsunami benefit concert in Vancouver at the end of the month and I'm on the fence.

Her song's are catchy and they have really good lyrics, but I don't care for her voice at all. When she's in the recording studio it's fine, but when she's performing live...ahhh.

Thats cool that you got to see her at a tsunami benefit concert. I didn't know she was doing that. I am part Thai and I have some family over there in Thailand. Thankfully everyone survived. I appreciate anyone who is doing anything for this tragedy.

Yeah, guys I agree that she is overplayed, but I never get tired of looking at her so her pictures can be overplayed as much as possible! Haha, its hard being a straight and single guy.

i remember though, when her first CD came out I WAS SO OBSESSED WITH HER! this was like 6th grade for me, so i would dress like her, spell skater like her, and i went to her concert and all lol

She has some catchy songs. I agree that she doesn't sound great live, though, based on various tv appearances that I've seen.

not a huge fan of hers, but Happy Ending has really amazing lyrics to me...and "Slipped Away" is so beautiful and sad.

In my experience, a guy mentioning that he enjoys Avril Lavigne music is a sign that he is a mistake.

1. A guy told me he thought Avril had a sexy voice. He turned out to be a hacker, a theif, and possibly a spy for the Mexican government. And he was homophobic, which was really the last straw.

2. A guy told me that the desktop on his computer at home was a picture of Avril Lavinge. He became a slut, an alcoholic, and a smoker. And he stopped calling me.

3. A guy did not know who Simon and Garfunkel were. He did not recognize a song by the Beatles. Or Britney Spears. The only artist he could correctly identify? Avril Lavinge. I'd learned my lesson, so I pretty much avoided him from the on. He now asks around about me, tells people that we're dating, or that we dated, and that he's "still in love with me". And when he found out that I was going to see Wicked, he bought the recording so that we would have something in common that we could talk about. (Note: he knows nothing about theatre).

4. A guy tells me he thinks Avril Lavigne is hot, and he sorta likes her music. He is obsessed with a girl who has been dating someone else for almost 2 years. He comes close to dating other girls, but pushes them away when things start to get serious, because he feels like he's "cheating" on this obsession of his. He claims that he is going to marry her, and has names picked out for their children.

It might be a coincidence...
But I blame Avril.

Gosh, Flowery Friend. I am deeply sorry for that, but I am not like those guys because I am a theatre lover who basically thinks Avril is hot. I think most straight guys my age think Avril is hot. I wish you the best of luck with your anti-Lavigne relationships to come sweetie!

I don't mind her.
I worked all summer in Napanee though.
Heard lots of Avril stories.
Like the time she was so high in history class she vomited.
