Some good news!

Well it is over! My son's AFROTC field training ended yesterday, and he is now awaiting his flight home! He said he learned a lot, took a minute off his mile run and lost 10 pounds. (That he really didn't need)
He will be home some time around 8:00 tonight.
Thanks to everyone who kept him in their thoughts and prayers it really meant a lot to both him and me.

Thanks all. He was made the Academic Officer, and didn't do so well on the pistol range, so he won't be on any guard duty too soon.

Thank you Thenardier for the spelling boo-boo. I had just got off the phone with my son and was a bit excited. But that is no excuse for poor grammar or spelling gaffes. Please note it has been fixed.

Thanks Jose'. Seems so funny to have raised (and cleaned up after) him for almost 20 years, to realize that he is now all grown up, and that Dave and I did a pretty darn good job.
In a few weeks he'll be all moved out and into to his own place, but I was promised a through cleaning of his bedroom and the bathrooms!
