"I live in a city that is, at last count, at least 45% gay (I think that's the number given to me last night).
And we only have maybe 45,000 people here."

Um. . . .what? I'm going to have to second Namo on that one.

I have NEVER met Cheyenne Jackson. I have never hung out with him in his dressing room, he did not tweet me, he never bought me a beverage, and he mostly certainly didn't tickle me. . .that is all.

actually Namo, you may be right, it could be 54% as I may have reversed the numbers. I suggest you write the Palm Convention and Visitors Bureau to ask them how they came up with that number.

It is ridiculous to set a detective story in New York City. New York City is itself a detective story... AGATHA CHRISTIE, Life magazine, May 14, 1956

I'm neither interested in conventions nor visitors, there is simply no way the gay population of Palm Springs is as high as 45%. Statistically it's impossible.

Of course the last time they "counted" was during the Dinah Shore Classic...he didn't say everyone LIVED there, just that at "last count" 45% of the people who were in Palm Springs THAT DAY happened to be gay.

PEACE.

Both Illinois & Chicago have anti-descrimination laws that cover orientation. The issue in this case will be whether they did in fact have room for her (They claim the shleter was full). They accept public money so they must accept everyone or forfeit those grants.
