Just got drawn in to this really cute romantic comedy. What an unexpected treat! It is silly, fun and even has a few moments that choked me up.
"A talk-show staffer (Ashley Judd) receovers from a broken heart by researching male mating patterns and rooming with her playboy pal (Hugh Jackman)."
Ashley Judd is really in her element here. Adorable, charming, honest and totally likable.
Mr. Hugh Jackman makes quite an impression in the role of the quintessential ladies' man. He is self-assured, smug and sexy as all get out. He reveals a softer side and melts hearts.
Oh did I mention, he plays an entire scene in his underwear? Just in case you're interested, Ms. Judd dances about scantily clad as well.
Also features solid, supporting work from Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei.
Overall, an unexpected frothy treat. Definitely worth renting.
Hugh Jackman in his shorts. 'nuff said.
Let's just say he has pecs of death.

I love that movie! I was just watching it :)
If in Heaven you don't excel, you can always party down in hell...
I would move in with Hugh Jackman in a heartbeat. Today I was commenting on how gross it is that Ashley Olsen is dating a 30 year old man, but then I realized---"Hey, I'd go out with Hugh Jackman, and he's 36!!"
Ok I'm done...
Love Love Love this movie except for one thing. Anyone know me well enough to figure it out?
Ashley Judd doing jumping jacks in her undies?
Nope. Try again.
no kissing scene btwn. Greg Kinnear and Hugh?
Is it Ellen Barkin?
Hmmm...no tight gold pants? No camel? No KUDISCH?!?!

I'm so glad I remembered to put on the VCR. I usually forget to tape the good stuff.

Don't like the movie, but like Jackman especially the scene in the kitchen. Yummy.

Matt_G, I know! I know!
It's Marisa Tomei being in it, isn't it?

This is one of those movies that just slipped in and out of my mind without leaving any impression- except, of course, that Hugh Jackman must take his shirt off in every movie he does. It's a rule.
